Everything you touch in this genteel house is ning on an antique: from beds you'll sleep on downto the cutlery you'll use for the innovative food. That's not including, of course the furnishings themselves, which in any other country would be in a museum - gambling chips from Cuba's last casino and an intriguing 1930's ashtray are highlights. But it's owner is that's the icing on the cake: an interior designer and local history expert who is a mine of information on everything from forgotten cuban film to the history of pharmacy. He can arrange art-deco city tours, as well as impromptu salsa clases.

À deux pass du Malecón, cette façade lézardée (à l´image du quartier) cache pourtant un intérieur surprenant avec une déco à la fois Art neuveau at Art déco. Il suffit, pour s´en apercevoir, d´observer les vitraux, les cadres, les bibelots mais aussi les carrelages du vestibule et de l´adorable salón, où il fait bons s´installer en écoutant un peu de jazz…

Casa 1932 is a beautifully furnished elegant colonial home run by the friendly Luis Miguel; Cuba first jazz band, Orchestra Hermanos Castro, once lived here.
