Welcome to Casa 1932... a B&B that transports you some 80 years back in time to the glam Havana of old. Here, in this antique-filled oasis, the strains of jazz drift through from the beautiful front room (full of so many fascinating curios most museums would be envious) to a central courtyard where a fountain burbles and on again into the three comfortable rooms. The little touches in the bedrooms show the experience of the host: radios, clocks, safe boxes and voluminous wardrobes, along with private bathrooms and air-conditioning. But these are by no means even the best things about Casa 1932. Yes, you could spend the whole day looking at the 1930s-era furniture and ornaments, from old books on Art Deco architecture to gramophones and the gambling chips from Cuba´s last-ever operating casino in the 1950s. But what sets this serene retreat apart is the quality of service provided by the hosts. Luis Miguel is a mine of information about Havana, particularly where architecture is concerned (just ask him about the Art Deco tours he runs). Yet you could easily while away a day or two in Havana in Casa 1932 alone, such is the friendliness of the family you´ll be staying with.
Casa 1932 offers you the chance of traveling through the time, taking you back to the 30`s in Havana today. It is comfortable, secure and it is only 50 meters far from the Havana seawall "Malecón Habanero", which is one of the symbols of our city. We wait for you. We are very close to La Habana Vieja (oldest part) and Vedado (the newest).
